Meet the Founder
Amirext’s founder is Attorney Martin Joseph Smith (“Joe”). Joe’s professional path reflects discipline, resilience, and a deep respect for hard work. He grew up working in the trades, gaining firsthand experience in the realities of building, operations, and the people who keep businesses running. He later served nine years in the United States Coast Guard, where he developed leadership skills, operational discipline, and the ability to perform under pressure.
Following his military service, Joe built his career within Fortune 50 organizations, focusing on law and regulatory affairs, process improvement, and financial crimes compliance. He went on to serve in executive leadership roles within audiovisual integration firms, guiding strategy, operations, and growth initiatives. These experiences, spanning field work, military leadership, large corporate environments, and executive management, ultimately led him to establish his own practice.
Joe approaches his work with a long-term mindset, grounded in accountability and results. He believes clients deserve a trusted partner who stands alongside them through complexity, execution, and change. His background across trades, military service, corporate leadership, and executive management informs a steady, practical approach to solving sophisticated problems.
